OUR CERAMIC COATING PREPARATION PROCESS
Before every ceramic coating application, we take the proper steps to prepare your vehicle to ensure our professional ceramic coating fully bonds to the surface of your automotive paint. These steps are industry standard for all auto detailing professionals.
Paint Preparation Process
After we do our paintwork inspection, we proceed with the preparation process. This must be done before every paint correction and ceramic coating.
We begin by removing all loose debris with an alkaline presoak and rinse. Then we do a thorough acid wash on all painted surfaces to help remove any left over dirt, stains, tar, and water spotting. We use a special PH soap to neutralize the acid and thoroughly wash the entire vehicle.
Paint Decontamination
Once our acid wash is complete and the surface is clean, we then proceed with decontamination using a fallout remover and or clay bar to remove brake dust stuck to the surface.
Paint Correction Process
After the vehicles paint is extremely clean, we proceed with our paint correction. This is the process that creates an extreme gloss everybody thinks the ceramic coating is responsible for.
As a final step we use a special solution we call prep wipe to ensure all compound & polish is removed before we finally apply any of our advanced ceramic coatings.
Paint Inspection Process
As an automotive industry standard, we do a thorough paint inspection on every car, truck, SUV, and van. We are checking for light scratches, deep scratches, swirl marks, paint depth, water spot etching, fallout and any imperfections that would need to be addressed during the preparation phase.
We take a very close look at your automotive paint so we can build a plan around the condition of your cars paintwork in order to provide the most professional ceramic coating installation possible.
