WHY IS CERAMIC COATING SO EXPENSIVE?
Getting a ceramic coating for your vehicle can add up, yes! It's expensive because it involves skilled labor and knowledge about vehicle surfaces and various chemicals. We are highly qualified, IDA Certified Detailers as well as certified through various Ceramic Coating companies such as Anglewax, IGL Coatings, Glassparency, Owners Pride and System X.
CAN I EXTEND THE LIFE OF MY CERAMIC COATING?
Yes! With proper maintenance your ceramic coating can outlast itself! How? You can either hire NitPickin to come out every 3 to 6 months for a Standard Exterior Detail with our Ceramic Maintenance addon or you can learn some new techniques by visiting our Aftercare Guide HERE! While our coatings are very durable, they do need proper maintenance.
CAN I TAKE MY COATED VEHICLE THROUGH A CAR WASH?
If you don't care about new swirls and scratches or the longevity of your coating. Car washes are notorious for beating up vehicle paint leaving more and more swirls and scratches everytime you go through. Eventually, your ceramic coating will diminish. Even touchless car washes can cause damage as they use super strong & harsh chemicals to clean your vehicle.
I'LL BE WASHING MY CAR, WHAT PRODUCTS SHOULD I USE?
We get asked this all the time! We use Glassparency products for just about everything we do. We recommend using ceramic safe products and gentle washing techniques!
